Primary school phone ban

Should smartphones be banned in primary schools during both lessons and breaks?

Poland's government has moved to ban smartphones in primary schools from 1 September 2026, citing a youth report on digital dependence; teachers may still allow devices for educational use. Singapore has also tightened phone rules in secondary schools from 2026.
