Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and Dhishuum (“we”, “us”). Please read them before using the website. By using Dhishuum you agree to them.

Last updated: 8 October 2026

1. What the service is

Dhishuum is an online platform where people can create opinion polls, vote, comment, attach evidence and share polls. We provide the platform; the polls, comments, uploads and tags are created by users, not by us.

2. Using the service

  • You must provide accurate information when you create an account and keep your login details safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • If you are under the age of majority where you live, please use Dhishuum together with a parent or guardian.
  • You may vote once per poll per account (unless a poll explicitly allows more). Creating extra accounts, using bots or scripts, or otherwise manipulating results is not allowed.
  • We may change, suspend or stop any part of the service at any time, for example for maintenance, safety or legal reasons.

3. Polls are opinions, not scientific surveys

  • Poll results show only the views of people who chose to take part. They are not scientific surveys, are not weighted or verified to represent any population, and can be affected by who sees and shares a poll.
  • Results, charts, maps and “bottom line” statements are provided for general interest. Do not rely on them for legal, medical, financial, electoral or other important decisions.
  • Demographic details (age bracket, gender, country, place) are self-declared and not verified.
  • The presence of a person, official or organisation in a poll or in the “People who may be connected” panel does not mean they did anything wrong. It means a user believes they are connected to the issue.
  • Related news and external links are provided by third parties. We do not control or endorse their content or accuracy.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post (polls, options, comments, photos, documents, videos, links and tags). By posting, you give Dhishuum a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, display, reproduce, adapt for display, and distribute that content on and in connection with the service (including in search results and when polls are shared), for as long as it remains on the service. You confirm that you have the right to post it and that it does not break any law or anyone’s rights.

You can delete your own polls and comments. Content that others have already shared or copied elsewhere may remain outside our control.

5. What you must not do

You agree not to post or do any of the following (see also our Community Guidelines):

  • Hate speech, slurs, threats, harassment, bullying or encouragement of violence or self-harm.
  • Sexual content involving minors, graphic violence, or any content that is obscene or unlawful.
  • False statements of fact about real people or organisations, defamation, or doxxing (publishing private contact details, home addresses or similar information).
  • Impersonation, scams, phishing, malware, or links to harmful or deceptive websites.
  • Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights of others.
  • Spam, fake engagement, vote manipulation, or attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
  • Polls that are designed to mislead, or that ask people to share sensitive personal information.

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these terms, at our discretion and without notice where needed.

6. Reporting and takedown

If you see something that breaks these terms or your rights, tell us through the Help & report a problem form or the report button on a poll. We aim to acknowledge reports within 24 hours and to act on valid reports within 15 days. We may remove content that is unlawful or breaks our rules, including in response to orders from courts or competent authorities, in line with applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it.

Copyright. If you believe content infringes your copyright, send us the work concerned, the link to the content on Dhishuum, your contact details and a statement that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner, using the Help form or rafinsight@gmail.com.

7. Advertising, affiliate links and third parties

Dhishuum may show advertisements (for example from Google AdSense) and may route outbound links through affiliate or tracking services, from which we may earn a commission. Ads and links are separate from poll results and never change them. We are not responsible for third-party websites, products or services you reach through Dhishuum; dealings with them are between you and them.

8. Our rights

The Dhishuum name, logo, design and software belong to us (see Trademark). You may not copy or use them except as these terms or the law allow.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that content (including poll results, related news and tagged information) is accurate, complete or up to date. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

10. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dhishuum and the people who run it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or from content posted by users. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Your responsibility to us

You agree to compensate us for losses, claims and costs arising from your breach of these terms or your content, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Ending your use

You may stop using Dhishuum at any time. To close your account and delete your data, contact us (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if we need to for legal or safety reasons.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights you may have where you live, the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes.

14. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the updated terms.
